Established in 1980 as Arrol & Snell Ltd, Arrol Architects operates from its own premises at St Mary’s Hall, a large and well-equipped studio-plan office in the heart of the historic town of Shrewsbury. Commissions extend from Scotland to the south east of England.
Arrol Architects has gained a reputation for high quality repairs and conservation work as well as the adaptive re-use of historical buildings both residential and commercial.
The practice has also gained extensive experience in new-build infill schemes within Conservation Areas. Such developments consist of both residential and mixed-use schemes. Working with developers the practice has provided much in the way of new-build residential schemes within its home town of Shrewsbury as well as developments further away such as at Tean Hall Mills, near Stoke-on-Trent and Chepstow.
Arrol Architects have undertaken work for many private clients including owners of both large Country Houses and small residences and an infinite variety of historic building types.
In order to fulfil its commitment to clients, the company uses its knowledge and experience of commerce and industry to stay abreast of the latest developments within its chosen field to continually improve its management and working processes. Its highly skilled and motivated work force fully understands the value of client satisfaction and the need for on time delivery of its products and services.
