This fine Grade II* Listed 18th Century Stableblock had fallen into total disrepair and some sections of the complex had collapsed. Arrol Architects were commissioned to undertake the Hall’s total restoration which involved the repair and re-use the buildings, the first phase of which was works to the Front Range. Roof coverings were completely stripped away and all trusses repaired. Collapsed sections of the building were rebuilt and we were able to salvage the majority of the brick and stonework that had fallen to the ground.
